Tuning and Maintenance of Keyboard and Woodwind Instruments in the South

Covid 19 Updated 28th December 2021

It is lovely being back at work looking after instruments for clients after what has been a very challenging and uncertain couple of years. Throughout the pandemic, I have been working in the safest way possible to protect clients and myself from Covid-19. I am continuing this practice heading in to 2022, with cases rising rapidly as the Omicron variant spreads.

I will continue to wear a mask as standard, and try to keep the 1 meter-plus rule at all times. Where possible, I would like to have the room where I'm working to myself. Also, when I've finished, I will wipe down the keys with an anti-bacterial wipe to avoid transmission from surface contact.

Rules around self-isolation for people who are symptomatic or who have tested positive are still the same, and so if that is the case work will be postponed. I am not charging cancellation fees for appointments missed or postponed because of Covid.

My risk assessment for visiting people's homes can be found here.
